That said, while there’s certainly a love for diamonds, we don’t think anyone ever went as far as to put diamonds into their fruit, but it just goes to show you how extravagant some people are living. Deco Diamonds by Just For the Win harkens back to the old days of fruit machines with a fresh coat of paint. It offers gamblers 5 reels and 9 paylines, with plenty of Wilds to be found laying scattered about the playing field. No such luck finding Scatters, however! Instead, the special features of this JFTW release are locked behind getting the aforementioned Wilds. You need at least two or more at once to get the re-spins, and if you want to try your luck at the bonus wheel you’ll need at least three up at once. However, winning more allows you to skip ahead to the stronger version of that same bonus, which can reward more cash at once.

This being the first release launched on the Microgaming platform in 2018, we had a bit higher expectations than what we ended up getting. The graphics certainly look good, and the upbeat music is great to listen to, even if it does just end up looping over and over in a very noticeable manner. However, we wanted something that was a bit more than just a touched up fruit slot.

You can play this Microgaming release from $0.10 up to $50 per spin, which will no doubt appease gamblers on the lower end who don’t have that much money to sink into their hobby. That said, with the high volatility and the focus on special features, it certainly seems to be more geared towards the gamblers who can bet more and win a lot as a result. It takes a while to pick up steam, as the bonuses remain elusive until everything lines up. With Wilds being the system of activation, you can often see one, but even two or more at once can be difficult to catch.

For the Bonus Wheel, you need to win at least three Wilds at the same time, but you’ll ideally want more. Not only because it pays a lot more from the get-go, but it moves you up into higher tiers. For three Wilds, you spin at Silver level, four grants you Gold level, and five Diamond level. If you get one of the lower levels, however, don’t fret. You can still move up to a higher level by winning an upgrade from the Bonus Wheel. Alternatively, you win cash rewards, with a 1,000x bet being the highest at the Diamond Wheel level.
