Available on desktop computers, tablet and smartphone devices since July 2015, Sparks is another impressive title developed by Net Entertainment with the emphasis on a rewarding gaming experience. The five reel, twenty payline game does not contain any bonus rounds, but Win Both Ways format, Expanding Cloning Wilds and stunning visuals are more than enough to compensate for what is not such a major drawback.

Sparks is one of just a handful of video slots where players have the option of choosing the game format, and it’s up to you to play one way or win both ways. The obvious difference is that win both ways scheme has symbols paying both left to right and right to left, but that is why all symbol payouts within the format are half the payouts at play one way. Meanwhile, the number of coins staked is the same.

The July 2015 release resembles a classic old-style fruit machine when it comes to special icons and extra features, with Wild being the only special symbol here. Wild will substitute for all other game icons without exceptions, while it can award payouts on its own, when three, four or five of these are found on any active payline.

Regardless whether you select pay one way or pay both ways, you will be staking 20 coins per spin, that is if your bet level remains 1. You have the option to increase level up to 10 and stake 200 credits per single spin. Meanwhile, the game supports eight coin denominations, ranging from $0.01 to $2, with Max Bet and Autoplay options available.

As we have already mentioned, base line payouts will depend on your game format, with maximum one way payout per single line being 8,000 credits and maximum pay both ways prize being 4,000 per payline. Said values are awarded when you receive five Wild icons on a payline at a bet level of 10.

High symbols are depicted as interesting article patterns in red, orange, green, purple and blue, whereas high cards Ace, King, Queen, Jack and Ten boast the same five colours and definitely look much better than in most other games. Orange W symbol in a blue vortex is Wild and it completes the list of game icons.

Sparks only contains a single special feature called Expanding Cloning Wilds. These can appear anywhere on reels 2 and 4 to substitute for other game icons. The symbols will either remain the same, expand up, expand down or expand in both directions before wins are awarded. This feature can also clone adjacent symbols to further improve your winning chances.

Net Entertainment wasted no time in developing the HTML5 version, with the mobile game released on the very same day as the original slot. There are no major differences between the two versions, apart from the fact that Sparks Touch has just several icons in the main screen, while others can be accessed via Settings symbol.
